LA Co EMERGENCY PARAMEDICS

In Los Angeles County nearly two thirds of all 911 calls are for medical emergencies. Our emergency medical services frequently make the difference between life and death. The paramedic program is one element of the vital services of emergency care, and remains a critical factor when dealing with life on the line.

There are three educational pre-hospital programs that feed the agencies with licensed EMS personel, The Paramedic Training Institute, UCLA Daniel Freeman, and Mt. San Antonio College. Learn about them all right here.
